Block apps and websites on your Mac
Most Mac blockers stop at websites. FlowShizz blocks apps too — it quits them if you open them during a block — alongside any website you name.

How it works
Choose the apps and sites you want out of the way, set a duration, and press start. FlowShizz keeps them blocked until the time is up.
There is no "end early" button. That's deliberate: a blocker you can switch off the moment it becomes inconvenient is a blocker you switch off. Pick your duration honestly and it holds you to it.
Presets and schedules
Save named sets for different parts of your day, and give them recurring hours so they run themselves. Windows can cross midnight for late shifts.
Requirements
macOS 13 Ventura or later. Apple silicon and Intel. Notarised by Apple, and it updates itself.
FlowShizz isn't on the Mac App Store, because blocking websites means editing a system file that sandboxed apps aren't allowed to touch. It's a direct download from this site.
