When someone clicks a Mac download button on this website, one anonymous total goes up by one. That is the only website measurement we keep. It does not store an IP address, identity, cookie, device profile or browsing history, and it cannot tell us who downloaded the app.

The apps and websites you choose to block, your presets, and your schedules are stored on your device. On iPhone, blocking uses Apple's Screen Time system: the apps you pick are represented by tokens that Apple deliberately makes opaque and device-specific. We cannot read which apps you chose, and neither can anyone else — including Apple's own frameworks, which only hand back a token, never a name.

If you buy Pro and turn on sync, your website list, presets and schedules are stored in your own private iCloud database, using your own Apple Account. This is the same mechanism your other apps use for their own iCloud data. We have no server, no access to your iCloud, and no ability to read what is in it.

Because Screen Time tokens are device-specific, the apps you pick on your iPhone are never sent anywhere. When you name an app for syncing, only the nickname you typed travels — never the app identity itself.

If you never turn on sync, FlowShizz makes no network connections at all.

FlowShizz Pro is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details, your name, or your Apple Account. We receive only the anonymous confirmation from Apple that a purchase exists.

The Mac app blocks websites by editing your computer's hosts file locally, with your permission. That editing happens entirely on your machine. Nothing about your browsing is recorded, transmitted or retained.

FlowShizz is a self-control tool for the person using it. It is not a parental control product, it does not monitor anyone else's device, and it does not report anyone's activity to anyone.

If this policy ever changes, the date at the top changes with it. Since we have no way to contact you — we have no contact details for you — any change will be posted here.
